Summary of role

Our construction team is looking for a full time NQ - 2 PQE associate to join our London office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team, and if they are at an NQ level will have undertaken a construction seat during their training contract.

The candidate will have had experience of contentious construction law, with practical experience of the Pre-action Protocol for Construction and Engineering Disputes, TCC litigation, mediation, adjudication and ideally, arbitration.

Some knowledge of the most popular standard forms of construction contracts is required, as well as experience of disputes relating to at least some of the following: payment issues, change, defects, termination and professional negligence. The candidate must have a willingness to take on responsibility for the day to day conduct of cases or aspects of cases and the ability to work as a team player and build strong client relationships.
