​6+ PQE Real Estate Disputes Managing Associate, Leading International Firm, London

Part of the Real Estate Division, the Real Estate Disputes Group has vast experience in acting on a range of high value, high profile and complex litigation cases, particularly in relation to institutional clients and occupiers with extensive property portfolios.

The Role

We want to grow the team and therefore are looking for a Real Estate Disputes lawyer to join us in London. If you have 6+ years' experience in a similar practice, are technically competent, commercially aware and committed to the growth of the group then we would love to speak to you.

You can expect a varied and broad mix of work in all forms of real estate disputes. Responsibilities will include dealing with a full range of landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals (contested and uncontested), rent reviews, dilapidation claims, forfeiture and possession actions.  You will also act on a range of high-value, high-profile and complex litigation cases, for example, arising out of insolvencies, failed joint venture arrangements or development disputes.

You will handle your own matters (with supervision) and assist the Partners and Legal Directors on more complex matters.  You will play a significant role in working for clients that are key to the Division and to the firm.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Excellent academic achievement

  • A minimum of 6 years' post qualification experience within Real Estate Disputes

  • A proven record of a high standard of client care for existing clients

  • The ability to fit quickly into a team-based environment

  • Demonstrates the ability to update and improve technical expertise on a regular basis

  • Some experience, and an interest, in business development
