​2+ PQE Non-Contentious Construction Associate, Global Law Firm, London

Our firm offers a full suite of services including finance, corporate, dispute resolution, tax, employment and regulatory. We are now looking for a Construction Associate to join our award-winning team.

The department

We are seeking a non-contentious construction associate to play a key role in the continued growth of our award-winning construction team.

The team acts for a variety of high profile clients including developers, contractors and consultants who are active in a wide range of sectors including general development and residential projects and in the hotel and leisure sectors.

The team also act for borrowers and lenders on the construction aspects of real estate finance transactions.

There will be opportunities to provide advice on live development projects to assist in mitigating risks and to assist clients complete projects on time and on budget.

The team primarily work on UK based projects but there could be opportunities to advise from the UK on projects located abroad.

Opportunities may also arise to provide support and assistance on contentious matters, albeit this role is intended to have a non-contentious focus.

Skills and experience – essential

The successful candidate will have around two years’ experience with either a pure non-contentious construction or mixed contentious/non-contentious construction background, acting for major national and international clients on complex projects.

Individuals must be qualified in England & Wales to be considered for this particular opportunity.

The work is primarily JCT contract-based but experience with other standard forms such as NEC and FIDIC would be an advantage.
