New - 2-4 PQE Private Equity Associate, Leading US Firm, London

Our client, a leading US firm, is looking for a 2-4 PQE Associate to join their highly regarded Corporate team in London to focus on Private Equity work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well-respected team, known for having an entrepreneurial outlook and approach, and to work on exciting deals both nationally and internationally.

Technical skills and experience

  • The right candidate will have ideally have gained specific knowledge and experience of a range of Private Equity transactional work, although this is not a pre-requisite. We are also open to considering candidates with more in-depth experience within Mergers & Acquisitions work but with an appetite to broaden their experience.

  • We are looking for candidates who are interested in contributing to the strategy of the practice and are interested in developing their skills in addition to fee-earning.

  • Due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are looking to an Associate lawyer, although we will consider candidates with more or less experience.

Your career development

Like all our lawyers, you will benefit from our multi-award winning career development programme. At each stage of your career this provides you with:

  • clear expectations of your role and what it takes to progress;

  • high-quality clients and work, with early responsibility and client exposure;

  • thorough assessment and individual feedback from a range of experienced colleagues;

  • robust technical training with early skills-based development, increasingly tailored to you; and

  • reward for your contribution, progression and potential, rather than PQE or tenure.
