The Group

The Employment, Incentives and Immigration team sits within our Corporate & Commercial Division. The team is spread across offices in the UK and consists of 9 Partners and over 30 other lawyers.

We handle a full range of employment matters and provide a complete service dealing with all aspects of the employment relationship - from recruitment to retirement. Our Requirements

We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Employment Team in our London office. The role will involve the full range of employment law and HR support work (contentious and non-contentious) for a wide range of clients across all business sectors. You can expect to work on a wide range of areas including but not limited to recruitment, service agreements, executive terminations, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and outsourcing, redundancy and change management, restrictive covenants and complex grievance complaints and investigations.

You will have the opportunity to develop close client relationships and undertake a major role in client work. From the outset you will be exposed to the highest quality work, for some of the UK's biggest name clients. Knowledge, skills and experience required

Our ideal candidate will have:
•Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
•A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience working in a busy, commercial Employment team (undertaking a mixture of contentious and non- contentious work and transactional support)
•The ability to gain the confidence of experienced HR advisers and managers by providing technically excellent and commercially pragmatic advice
•Ideally some experience of immigration issues, or at least an appetite to learn and to develop that expertise alongside core employment expertise
•Excellent drafting and communication skills
•Experience of tribunal advocacy or a willingness to develop that A commercial and common sense approach
•A keen desire to develop your marketing and business development skills
•The ability to work to deadlines within a challenging environment and to work as part of a team, be confident, personable and self-motivated
•The willingness to fit in with our team and the open and inclusive culture within our firm
