Construction Solicitor / Associate (flexible on location and remote working possible)
The team are known for their work in the Real Estate sector, specifically working on construction and engineering projects, as well as advising on procurement law.
Some of the things we’ve been doing recently:
College – innovative public/private project to develop the College’s campus with a new skills centre, training hotel and residential units
Private Developer – large residential scheme in London with some mixed use
Private Developer – new supermarket development in the South East for a major chain
International Architects Practice – acting in ICC arbitration in connection with an infrastructure project
Acting for a health sector client in successful adjudication proceedings for professional negligence in connection with a construction project
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing national team. You’ll have the chance to work closely with partners and be involved in high-profile commercial developments right from the start, working on projects all across the country. Whilst it would be great if you have experience of both contentious and non-contentious work, we’d be happy to consider those with just non-contentious experience. Equally, we’re keen to accommodate what’s best for you, so we can be flexible on location and are open to discussions about remote working.
What we’ll need from you:
Ideally 3-6 years PQE (but there is scope to look outside of this)
Experience of both contentious and non-contentious work
An ability to work on own initiative but also as a supportive team player, working as part of a national Construction team
